I just wanted to say thanks for putting together such a great set of plans. This is our first time raising chickens and I can't wait to try fresh eggs. We're growing cherry tomatoes, green peppers, jalapenos, and some herbs on the chicken coop roof. I can't wait to have my first southwest omlet made entirely from contents found in my green roof chicken coop. I'll let you know how it goes. Anyway, I just wanted to say that we're excited to start raising chickens and the chicken coop looks great. It tooks us about a month of Saturday mornings but everything was easy. I thought the hardest part was going to be shaving the 1/2 inch off of the 2x6 but I actually just had home depot shave it down for me. I went back for that so it holds true for me that I can't seem to finish a project without going to the hardware store at least twice. So, I thought I'd mention the 1/2 inch shave on the front 2x6 for those that don't have a table saw. It can be done with a circular saw but it was just a lot easier to have it cut at the store. Anyway, hope that tid bit helps someone. All in all, the plans were great. I loved the shopping list and cut list; they made the prep work mindless which made the plans well worth the money. So, thanks for putting together a great product. |

I just wanted to drop you guys an email to thank you for my green roof chicken coop plans. My daughter and I assembled our coop in three weekends time, and we loved every minute of it. I went a little crazy when we decided to raise chickens, and I downloaded 4 plans from different websites. Most of them were garbage, I'd almost say they were scams. Your plans were the real deal. Just as advertised, we were able to follow them from beginning to end. I'm hoping to send you some pictures once our chicks are old enough to live in the coop. I guess that's only a few weeks away! Well, in any case, thank you again for pulling together such a great set of instructions. Our coop turned out perfect. Now, we just have to figure out what vegetables we're going to plant! |

I think it was a good idea for you guys to get an architect involved. I find your coop quite attractive. I did purchase a coop from COMPETITOR NAME REMOVED, but I don't really like theirs because the wood is kind of cheap, and their coop holds fewer chickens than advertised. |

The coop is perfect for the girls and they love their oat grass growing on top. As a graphic designer and an artist, we love how the coop functions and looks! Thanks! |
