I just wanted to say thanks for putting together such a great set of plans. This is our first time raising chickens and I can't wait to try fresh eggs. We're growing cherry tomatoes, green peppers, jalapenos, and some herbs on the chicken coop roof. I can't wait to have my first southwest omlet made entirely from contents found in my green roof chicken coop. I'll let you know how it goes. Anyway, I just wanted to say that we're excited to start raising chickens and the chicken coop looks great. It tooks us about a month of Saturday mornings but everything was easy. I thought the hardest part was going to be shaving the 1/2 inch off of the 2x6 but I actually just had home depot shave it down for me. I went back for that so it holds true for me that I can't seem to finish a project without going to the hardware store at least twice. So, I thought I'd mention the 1/2 inch shave on the front 2x6 for those that don't have a table saw. It can be done with a circular saw but it was just a lot easier to have it cut at the store. Anyway, hope that tid bit helps someone. All in all, the plans were great. I loved the shopping list and cut list; they made the prep work mindless which made the plans well worth the money. So, thanks for putting together a great product.
